Membership Policies
Anyone of any age may be an AHI member. However, the ability to read and count is mandatory. All lessons are taught in American English. Other languages are planned for the future.
Children under the legal age in their resident state must be registered by a parent or guardian. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to maintain a valid credit card registered with AHI to pay for lessons, exams, and materials selected by under-aged children. AHI will not be responsible for any lessons, exams, and materials ordered by children without the consent of a parent or guardian.
It is the responsibility of all members to maintain a valid credit card registered with AHI to pay for lessons, exams, and materials
A student membership may be upgraded to a Lifetime Membership for $15.00.
A Lifetime Membership may NOT be downgraded to a Student Membership.
Should your membership lapse or should it be cancelled for any reason, any score which you have achieved, while in good standing, will be stored. If you should ever reactivate your membership, you may pick up where you left off, and continue from there. AHI will email a transcript to you for a safe-keeping backup.
If a member has a score posted publicly, and membership is cancelled for any reason, at the member’s discretion, the posted score will remain visible to the public, with the added clarification, “Last Achieved Score, Membership Terminated.” This policy will remain in effect as long as AHI can afford to maintain this listing. Should such listings become an unreasonable burden to AHI, they will be purged.
